Enchanting, romantic and intimate, The Lodge on Loch Goil is very well known for celebrating small intimate weddings.

At our wedding venue, we invite you to celebrate your wedding in comfortable informality and experience grandeur from a bygone age; the only guests are those that you have specially invited.

Hayley’s words

“We have known each other from childhood and became a couple in 2004 when I was 16 and Robert was 18.

I am a nurse and Robert is a joiner. We have six children together, the most recent child that was born in July last year.

I was 16 weeks pregnant with when we got married at the Lodge on 8th March.

The uniqueness of the Lodge on Loch Goil is the Treehouse, as we like things to be different, it appeared both romantic and had an element of fairytale to it.

We had been searching for a long time for a venue that offered intimate weddings.

We would describe our experience at The Lodge as magical and very personalised. The whole experience exceeded all expectations. We were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble for Alice.”

Kid’s words

Ellie aged 12: – “I liked the beds because they were comfy and liked that the wedding was held in a treehouse.”

Robbie aged 8: “I liked the beds too and I loved the lodges delicious food.”

Ollie aged 7: “I liked the Summerhouse that we used to get ready for the wedding”.

Maddie aged 6: “I liked bringing the wedding rings to mum and dad in my special basket.”

Sonny aged 5: “I liked the piñata and wedding cake. I want to marry my girlfriend Sophie in the Treehouse.”

Baby Buddy aged 6 months was in mummy’s tummy but still enjoyed the day!

I have to say, Hayley and Roberts amazing children were a completed pleasure to have at the Lodge, the kids were the best behaved I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a total credit to you both.

Hayley’s dress definitely had the ‘Wow’ factor!
