Welcome to my Wedding World

My name is Alice and I have been in the wedding industry for over 15 years.  I have successfully planned over 1,000 weddings here at my wonderful wedding venue, The Lodge on Loch Goil, “Scotland’s Most Stylish Hotel 2015 – 2016”.

What advice can I offer you?  Well, the list is endless – you just have to read about my experiences.  The difference between me and many bloggers is very simple; I am the wedding planner.  I don’t just write about weddings, I make dreams come true.  From the minute you arrive until you depart, I am on site to cater for your every need.  Not many planners can say that!

I have organised and run every single wedding at the Lodge over the past 15 years.  From that first phone call made until leaving my venue with your life partner, I will be there.

One thing about me!  I am very honest and I will tell you what works and what does not work.  I have never had any problem saying ‘No’, which I do believe a lot of people in this industry struggle with daily.

I believe giving a person the right advice early on will cut out any stress in the coming months and make sure your day runs smoothly and stress free with no hiccups … which, I have to say, I do very well!

I feel honoured and excited to be sharing my passion for the world of weddings with you, whether you like my advice or not!  It simply is irrelevant to me, but be aware I will be honest and truthful at all times.

When I start to share my stories and my experience with you, forget about wedding programmes on TV as you will no longer need to watch them to get advice – just read about real life weddings.

My aim always is to help you achieve the best wedding day possible.  Remember one thing; there are no re-runs and you can’t come back and do it all again next week, so there can be no room for error “Ever”!
