We could not achieve our levels of excellence without out resident dedicated staff.

Front of House

Lindsay Jones and Alice Gill are front of house to meet and greet and tailor your stay to your requirements.

Alice is also an experienced wedding planner and will take all the stresses out of your big day. Lindsay is a trained Restaurant manager and won 'Sommelier of the Year 2005'. They are assisted by our House Keeper, of 10 years, Anne O'Connor and female maître d' Alice Johnstone.

The Lodge Chef

The pride of Scotland is it’s produce and our travelled, resident chef, Michael Jones, incorporates his knowledge of local seasonal produce with simple, traditional cooking methods to produce culinary delights.

With fish from Mallaig, beef from Glen Fyne and organic vegetables and herbs from our own gardens we are able to offer exceptional nutritious food served to the highest standards in surroundings available in only a few special places in the world.

The Lodge Gardener

Surrounded by Woodland our lochside garden is well stocked with rhododendrons, azaleas heathers and herbaceous borders. Our resident gardener Cherry Rust applies her 32 years of experience to maintain and nurture the gardens to their optimum potential. Cherry has provided, from seed, a wide variety of organic seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs from her newly created kitchen garden.

As a qualified florist, Cherry arranges cut flowers, also grown on site, throughout the Lodge and is on hand to offer advise to any future bridal party.

The Lodge Butler

Our fully trained, ex army, resident butler compliments the rest of our staff and is on hand to cater for your needs as well as pipe you into dinner, (as he did for the Queen Mother), lead you in whisky tasting or tell you a Highland tale or two.

A character in his own right Gordon can speak fluent Arabic, Turkish and Spanish has travelled extensively, taking on some cruelling duties, during his time in the Intelligence Corp. He is a trained Highland story teller and a very knowledgeable Whisky taster and can arrange a night you might not remember as you have your choice of over 100 Scottish Whiskys in the Whisky bar. He can also facilitate private tours of the local distilleries.

We have also 4 trained First Aiders in our staff.

“Thanks so much everybody for such a great time and all your hard work - it was brilliant. Cheers!”
Don Moretti, Stylist, UK
