Lodge Accessories

Due to popular demand we are working on increasing our range of Lodge-branded products in the shop. At the moment we are stocking bathrobes, slippers (also a courtesy gift to guests), and a selection of Lodge Art.

The Lodge Art by Local Artists Jean Bell and Don McNeil

Along with Don McNeil, her husband, Jean set up Fyne studios on the shores of Loch Fyne where she lives and works using the inspirational environment around her seaside home. Over the years she has developed several series of works one of which she calls ‘Toffee Paintings’ using the wrappers in her paintings. She works mainly in oils and acrylic as well as mixed media. Her works are in private collections worldwide.

Don McNeil graduated in Drawing and Painting from Glasgow School of Art in 1965. In 1995 he took early retirement after 30 years as Principal Teacher of Art, to concentrate on his paintings. He was sent to Japan in 1982 to set up art courses and his work changed dramatically. He now strives to capture the fleeting moment in the landscape by setting himself a time limit. He works in oils, water colour and acrylic not to mention natural objects that happen to ‘fall’ onto his work – midges, sand, rope, etc. His works are in private collections throughout the world.

The Lodge Prints by Mark Hamilton and Derek Prescott

Top Scottish fashion photographer Mark Hamilton has produced a series of prints of the Scottish Games, which would look great in any home to remind you of your time in Scotland. We also have a selection of landscape photography from Derek Prescott, who has lived in this area for a number of years. His work truly captures the magic and mystery of the Scottish Highlands.
