Dining room
At the heart of The Lodge, with comforting log fire and magnificent views over the loch, the dining room provides the scene for a memorable day/evening.
The Victorian dining room has the original stained-glass windows by Daniel Cottier (a Glasgow glass-maker famous for his designs in Dowanhill Church, now Cottier's theatre and Templeton's Carpet Factory in 1864) and hand-painted Pugin wallpaper.
As you savour the views and the cuisine you will be embraced with a familiar feeling of warmth and contentment.
A setting as formal as the company require.
“Thank you all so much for your fantastic hospitality. The Summerhouse was the perfect place to get engaged to my future husband, This was the most romantic place in the world to propose to my beautiful girlfriend,we will be back.”
